Profitunity Private Tutorial Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Can I sign up for the Private Tutorial without purchasing the Home Study Course package?
A. Studying the Home Study Course on DVD is a prerequisite for the Private Tutorial and should be purchased at least 8 weeks before attending tutorial.
Q. How soon after the Home Study Course should I attend a Tutorial?
A. Ideally, you would reserve your space when you order your Home Study Course. That would be 2 months from the date you begin to study. This is not always possible, and we urge you to attend within 6 months. (We do not set a time limit to attend so if considerable time has passed, we suggest that you thoroughly review all Home Study Course materials before you arrive).
Q. When do you teach the Private Tutorial? How often?
A. We teach 4 Tutorials per year, which are typically held in March, June, September & December.
Q. What will I get from the Private Tutorial that isn't in the Home Study Package?
A. First, and most important, the Home Study Course teaches you all the rules and methodology. At the Tutorial, we spend a great deal of time dealing with market behavior, learning Elliott Wave and when and how to break the rules. Trading is an art and this is a master class.
There are many things that can be learned best by looking at the charts of that day's markets with expert guidance. You will see us place our trades. Some of the items covered in the two days here that are not in the Home Study Course are the new indicators, asset allocation and most importantly the hands on psychological facilitation.
Q. Where will I go to take the Private Tutorial?
A. In our office located 20 miles north of San Diego, CA. Most students acquire a rental car as public transportation will not get you here.
Q. How many people attend each Private Tutorial?
A. The tutorial in limited to 8 students in each class. Justine Williams-Lara will be teaching each class along with Marcus Lara and a lunch visit by Bill Williams.
Q. What about places to stay, local hotels, etc?
A. San Diego offers a wide range of accommodations. You will receive our local area hotel recommendations in the confirmation e-mail we send to you after you register for the class.
Q. I only trade stocks - will everyone else be trading commodities?
A. The Profitunity methods apply to both stocks and commodities and our students trade all markets which varies from group to group. We will go over markets people are interested in and/or currently trading.
Q. Do I need to trade while I am in the class for those two days?
A. You are welcome to trade during class but we have found that if you trade during a Private Tutorial you may not be paying as much attention to the class as you need to. Those students who focus on the class instead of their positions, tend to have more success after they leave. However we have tried to set up a trading environment that is friendly and allows you to feel comfortable when placing your trades.
Q. What brokerage do you recommend?
A. Today, there are so many Internet brokerages that we could not recommend any certain one. We will be happy to share with you the names of the companies with whom we trade through.
Q. What if I have questions after I've completed the Private Tutorial? What kind of help can I expect?
A. We provide ongoing trading and technical support for each client as needed. After attending a tutorial, our students are able to contact us with their advanced trading questions, and we highly encourage our students to ask questions!
Q. Do you go over all of the Profitunity indicators in the tutorial class?
A. The class is a supplement to the Home Study Course so we focus on those indicators and learn how to best implement the Wiseman strategies for fractal trading, bullish and bearish divergent bar entries and exits, how to use the Super AO indicator for adding on, using the Alligator indicator as a trading filter, and using proper market stops.
